Is it possible to have both New and Old engine on the same computer?

We have a project that was done on Old engine. Now we need to make some updates for it.
If I understand right, we have to redo the project structure on New engine platform.
To save time I was thinking to have access to old engine and follow the existed hierarchy, camera and light set up.
Where I can find the link to download the old engine?
Also, can I use both OLD and NEW engine on the same computer?
Can I create a new version of the project without ruin the old version before I finish updates?
